Crazy Questions

A beginning

Every blog has to start somewhere, and the default “Hello world!” doesn’t really cut it this time. Whilst there isn’t quite a plan or an agenda for this site, the inspiration comes from a sadly deceased blog authored by Mandarine called absidea, which developed some of those absurd ideas we all get from time to time that seem utterly preposterous, and yet somehow so audacious they might just work!

Since absidea has unfortunately slipped off the radar, hopefully only temporarily, the aim of this blog is to offer a slight twist on the original concept. Instead of proposing solutions and technologies that seem to fit the laws of science whilst breaking the laws of logic and common sense, this blog aims instead to ask questions that sound vaguely logical but can probably be answered by those in the know (and perhaps a few out there will be able to do so). Some of the questions asked will be famous paradoxes or other similar intriguing questions which may be answerable as part of the post. Others will be open to debate and may even illicit a respectable answer or two.

There’s only one or two authors for the time being, so the going will be slow, but suggestions and comments are always welcome.
